Throttle Cable Bracket - 1948 Harley OHV Only

This one piece stainless steel throttle cable clamp replaces HD#56604-48 and also Colony#2954-4 on 1948 OHV Harley Davidsons. It is designed to hold the throttle sheath in place securely.

Award Cycle Clamps

• Can clamp the thinnest throttle cables on the market.
• Have M4 threaded holes on both sides so you can configure access to suit yourself.
• Are one piece so no plate to shake loose.
• Have plenty of spring anchor points.
• Can be drilled out to 11mm/7/16" if you need to.

Existing original and reproduction clamps on the market:

• They don't clamp the thinner 5.5/6mm throttle cable used on many custom bikes.
• They are prone to having their clamping plates/screws/washers lost from vibration.
• They have no where to mount a throttle return spring.

Notes on Fitment

• Some fettling of the parts may be required for fitment, this is expected as engines, frames, and combinations of the two vary massively over the years, and many have been modified far from stock.
• The stock Screw is M4x0.7x10mm, shorter screws and spring washers can be used for thicker throttle cables, there is also enough meat to drill out the cable hole more if required.
